CURRENT RESTORATION PRICES Glossy & semi-glossy animals: Chip $10 - $25 (depending on size of figurine: minis start at $15, larger pieces up to $25) Broken Leg - with the leg piece - $20 to $35 depending on size of animal. Missing Leg - $60 - $85 (complete new sculpt) depending on size of animal. Rebuild (new sculpt other parts) - $25 - $85 depending on part, animal size, and difficulty in recreating the piece. (Miniature restorations can be less in some cases depending on complexity of part) NOTE: For matte or satin matte finish figurines: add $10 to each of the above. On multiple repairs to one figurine, price will be bid overall not on individual damages, unless the work is extremely involved and the damage severe the cost will be less for an overall total than priced individually. The above pricing is just to give an idea of the basic cost to have pieces with single break, chip, or other damage restored. If you wish to have a bid on restoration of a figurine, email me at DebDean@sbcglobal.net with the information about what piece it is, and what you need restored on it (leg breaks, chips, etc). A photo can also be helpful, but isn't necessary if you can describe the damage. My waiting list for new clients is long. The wait to get an animal returned can be long. I give no guarantee on return time because it isn't finished until it pleases my eyes, but I do guarantee you will be satisfied with the work done and the end results. I do not work on resins, sorry and I am only accepting some made in Japan models. I work mostly on Hagen-Renaker and Beswick. I work some on the regular line of older HR miniatures and the prices for restoring these can be less than the above listed ones. Shipping a figurine to me is at the owner's expense. Return shipping of items, also at owner's expense, is done at priority mail for pound weight (I do not charge handling fees ever only shipping costs.) Your own packing materials will be saved and reused to return your piece. Since the postal service instituted their increases recently it can be better to use Fed Ex or UPS ground services. Insurance and delivery confirmation, if so desired, is at whatever rate the US Postal Service charges (insurance up to $50 is $1.65, more depending on amount claimed. Delivery confirmation is 45 cents with priority mail). I will only send single, small pieces by way of first class mail. I prefer not to send anything by parcel post but if that is your choice I will do so. If you can't check prices for shipping email me and I'll get that information for you as well. |
