Robin mama old gray color (HTF) restored her wing and tail.
This little hen isn't HR but she's adorable. I restored her for my friend Bobby who collects chickens.

This is what it looks like in progress when I restore a miniature animal. The smallest one I've done lately is the HR bluebird (my he's 7/8th of an inch tall!). But his whole tail was gone when he arrived and so now he has a new one. Some of my greatest pleasure, aside from collecting Hagen-Renaker miniatures, is restoring the old ones. It's really wonderful to get a broken HR and fix it nicely again. It's one of the most rewarding things I do because when they are done it's almost like I can see them smiling. Well at the very least, I'm smiling because I know that they are pretty again. Some of them have been a real challenge. The smaller they are, the harder they are to work on. I have lots of itty bitty work tools and like my good friend Roxy (who customizes the most beautiful horses) I desperately need someone to make a paint brush with two bristles :) the ones I have with 6 or 8 bristles are way too big :) If you have broken babies and want to have them restored. Email me at DebDean@sbcglobal.net I'm always glad to help them be pretty again. You can go to the restoration prices page by clicking here More pictures below. |
